根据同名网路剧改篇，Lucas Neff及Barry Rothbart加盟ABC喜剧《Downward Dog》，本剧由Samm Hodges及Michael Killen主创及编剧，讲述一个生活混乱﹑不愿认错的女子Nan（Allison Tolman饰演），与她的狗Martin（Samm Hodges配音）之间有趣的互动的故事。该剧将从狗的视点来讲述，对于Nan和Martin来说，就算生活多糟糕，最美好的事情就是有对方在身旁。Lucas Neff, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Barry Rothbart 和Mo Collins也有份参演. Led by patriarch Atz Kilcher, singer Jewel's father, the family have lived on their land for three generations. The show also focuses on the homesteaders who live by the Kilchers, including, Brother Roadkill, who eats animals lying dead on the side of the road.。
