With all of technology taken away from the the young adults to slow down any rescue team...。路德维克是捷克铁幕时期政府的公务员，一天晚上他和妻子参加政府举办的宴会，在宴会上他得知他的顶头上司被秘密警察抓捕了，他很害怕连累到自己，回家后又发现家里莫名其妙停电了，而大门有别人进来的痕迹，就连电话好像也出现了状况，他怀疑自己也受到了秘密警察的监视，而街上一辆停着不动的小轿车似乎是秘密警察的监视哨，夫妇俩在对于未来的在担惊受怕里相互埋怨、指责，最后演化成对于相互的不理，他们认定自己将是下一个受害者，许多关联的事件让他们越想越怕，并因为害怕被捕而焦虑起来，甚至想到了自杀却因故未成，第二天，他们已经变得绝望静静等待着最坏的结果，这时，电话铃终于响了，电话里传来的却是……。
