故事改编自安东尼·格里科(Anthony Grieco)原著剧本，讲述为了挽救一家精品出版社，一位雄心勃勃的年轻编辑(普拉扎饰)与一位作家(凯恩饰)上演了一场狂野的售书之旅。而这名作家一直只是想与苏格兰威士忌、雪茄与虎斑猫过自己的日子。。本片根据诺贝尔文学奖获得者海明威的《过河入林》一书改编。《过河入林》是海明威于1949年去意大利旅行和打猎回国之后所写的一部长篇小说，主人公坎特威尔上校身上有作者本人的影子。坎特威尔上校随着年龄的增长，心情日趋颓唐，到威尼斯去打野鸭作消遣，并到意大利北部凭吊过去的战场。他回忆过去的爱情，考虑到死亡的问题，感到孤独绝望。。Heavily influenced by the ghostly series THE KINGDOM, the sleepwalker Karen seeks answers to the unresolved questions of the series in order to save the hospital from doom. Sound asleep one night, Karen wanders into the darkness and inexplicably ends up in front of the hospital. The gate to the Kingdom is opening once more…。
