电影《那狗》讲述了一个从抗战时期走过来的老人乃狗，看到村民们为了生存和更好的生活都远赴他乡务工使得土地荒芜后，痛心疾首。老人不忍看到先辈们用鲜血和生命换来的成果就此荒废，老人决定去外地，劝说村民回乡发展。。繁忙的巴黎街道上，法律系的大学生每天傍晚都与学画的希薇擦身而过，他倾倒于她的美貌，终于一天得到机会与她搭讪，一心以为下个明天便可发展。然而他却再也没有见过希薇，为了再次偶遇，他放弃了晚饭，改为在曾经相遇的街道上走三个来回。为了消磨时间，他走进一家面包店买酥油饼，此后天天如此，而且他感觉到面包店的女孩对自己颇有意思。男性的天性令他不由自主地与她调情，尽管他明知道她并不是他所喜欢的类型。三周后，他约到她共进晚餐，就在此时，希薇出现了，心中的女神与面包店女孩，他会作何选择？。Set in the 1930's, this gangster spoof tells the comic tale of a Johnny Kelly (Michael Keaton) who is forced into a life of crime in order to pay for his ailing mother's medical treatment.
