故事讲述一对情侣坐小飞机去岛屿上参加婚礼，在离开小岛时飞行员不幸突发心脏病，俩人得想办法活下来。。Freedonia国家财政陷入困难，有钱的寡妇Mrs. Teasdale（玛格丽特·杜蒙 Margaret Dumont 饰）推荐Rufus T.
