乔书婷和宋远程本是一对恩爱的夫妻，两人有一个儿子小宝。可多年前宋远程的战友高松为了救宋远程而受伤，失去了生育能力。为了报恩，宋远程擅自将儿子小宝送给了高松，可没了小宝的乔书婷却疯了，从此踏上了寻子之路。Krishna来自一个传统的大家庭，妈妈在家中十分权威。他在工作的地方爱上了自己的上司Vrinda。Vrinda因为疾病无法生育，于是在答应求婚前让Krishna将这个情况告诉他的母亲等家人以避免日后的烦恼。可是Krishna因为妈妈当时特别想要孙女只好撒谎自己没有生育能力，设计了一系列谎言后终于和Vrinda结婚。然而谎言的终究是有代价的。Student Jane jobs as an assistant for the animal researcher Phillip in a lonesome old house.
