Gaumont won, and from April 1913 to May 1914 Louis Feuillade directed five Fantômas films which critic David Thomson has described as "the first great movie experience."。夫、娘と中古の一軒家に引っ越してきた萩乃。ある日、外出中の萩乃に娘の萌花から助けを求める電話がかかってくる。慌てて帰宅した萩乃が目にしたのは、荒れ果てた家と服をずたずたに切り裂かれた萌花、そして萌花に馬乗りになった見知らぬ少女の姿だった。かつてこの家に暮らしていたが、ある事件を起こして町を去ったはずの彼女の名前はちーちゃん。ちーちゃんの存在は、一見幸せに見えた萩乃たち家族が隠そうとしていた“毒”をあぶり出す。。
