When a local pot farmer is caught up with a wayward group of campers the situation quickly escalates into total carnage.。这是一部戏说猪八戒的连续剧。八戒（徐峥 饰）原是一只平凡的小猪，因为想逃脱被宰杀的命运而千方百计从猪圈里逃了出来。一日，八戒偶遇了因追杀九尾猫妖（翁虹 饰）而来到人间的太白金星（孙兴 饰），此时太白金星正身陷囫囵，机智的八戒出手救了他。太白金星感激八戒，于是施法让他当一天人，咒语念动，八戒摇身变成了他的主人——英俊的朱书生的模样。 变成了人样的八戒不想再重新变回猪，于是逃走了。为了能躲过法力高强的太白金星的追捕，八戒边逃跑、边到处学艺，功夫果然也有了飞速的增长。随后，太白金星的内伤复发，功力失去了一大半，见此情景，太上老君赐予了八戒神功，让他和太白金星一起消灭猫妖！。
