2001年春节前夕，市刑警队副队长刘大军为了一个大案在外奔波大半年回到东清县，终于获准休假回老家过年。因为东清县青年梁晓晓持刀杀死生母一案由刘大军的父亲——乡派出所干警老刘接手了大半年毫无头绪，市局领导安排刘大军在探亲的同时继续着手调查杀人嫌疑犯梁晓晓的下落。于是，刘大军带着将要生产的妻子小玲回到了乡下……。Morse and Lewis investigate the death of Laura Poindexter, an American tourist who is part of an exclusive tour group visiting Oxford. Missing from her personal effects is her jewelry, including the Wolvercote Tongue which she was going to donate to the Ashmolean Museum. The pathologist determines that she died of natural causes, but Morse feels there's something not quite righ...。
